In the 2023 summer flight schedule, Eurowings wants to expand its presence at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. The intention is to head for around 30 destinations. New destinations include Malaga, Alicante, Antalya, Graz, Larnaca and Rhodes.

As part of this growth, Eurowings is expanding its base in the capital and will have six aircraft stationed at BER in the future. Already in the current 2022/23 winter timetable, a fourth aircraft will strengthen Eurowings' growth path at the capital's airport. With the significant program expansion, the Lufthansa Group airline is also reacting to the withdrawal of international competitors, who have withdrawn sharply from the German market in the course of the pandemic. Months ago, Eurowings had emphasized the importance of the capital and announced that it wanted to position itself more strongly in Berlin.
