The airline Norse Atlantic Airways will carry out the first flight from Berlin-Brandenburg on Wednesday. At the same time, the carrier is announcing another destination, Fort Lauderdale, to be taken from the airport in the German capital.

Norse Atlantic Airways will initially connect Berlin with New York JFK and Los Angeles. Both first flights take place this week. On December 7, 2022, the airport management can again attend a premiere flight celebration, because the carrier intends to fly three times a week to Fort Lauderdale from this day on.

It is currently planned that the long-distance connection should be served on the traffic days Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The Boeing 787 aircraft will take off from Berlin at 16:25 p.m. local time and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 21:00 p.m. local time. The return flights take off at 23:00 p.m. and arrive in the German capital at 14:40 p.m. the following day.
