Berlin-Brandenburg Airport had around 2023 million passengers in July 2,2. In a direct comparison with the same month last year, it was possible to increase a little, but it is still significantly below the value that Tegel and Schönefeld had in July 2019 in common. At that time, 3,4 million travelers used the two airports.

The airport company expects slightly increased passenger numbers by the end of the summer holidays in the capital region on August 27th. A total of around 13 million passengers are expected at BER from July 27th to August 3,5th. During the holiday season, a total of 66 airlines fly from BER to 141 destinations in 47 countries.

A total of 16.127 machines took off and landed at BER last July, around 1.000 more than in the same month last year. In July 2019, around 25.684 flight movements were counted in the capital region. A total of around 2.743 tons of air freight were loaded at BER last month, around 400 tons more than in July 2022 and around 460 tons less than in July 2019.
