The house brand of Bern-Belp Airport, Flybair, wanted to launch some so-called pop-up flights over the Christmas period. Among other things, Las Palmas and Marrakech should be served. Now the rejection follows.

Flybair justifies the decision, among other things, with further uncertainties that have arisen due to the corona pandemic. It would not have been possible to fly to Morocco anyway, because the government of the North African state recently announced the extension of the ban on international passenger flights.

Flybair will therefore not offer any flight connections for a longer period of time. Only the flights operated by Air Alsie for Lübeck Air can also be booked on the website of the house brand of Bern-Belp Airport. In the summer of 2022, the plan is to start marketing regular holiday flights again.
