After the opening of the Laupen time loop last autumn, Bern is starting the e-bike season for the first time with four themed routes. The four tours around the Swiss capital can be easily booked with a new four-day flat rate including luggage transport.

Nature is omnipresent in and around the city of Bern. Numerous parks and the Aare river nestle against the UNESCO-designated old town and invite you to experience and enjoy its characteristic cosiness together with the people of Bern. An e-bike excursion into the pristine nature at the gates of Bern is also comfortable. Four unique themed e-bike routes lead around the city of Bern, through the Gantrisch Nature Park, the Laupen region and across the Frienisberg plateau.

Each route is dedicated to a specific theme at adventure locations - nature and agriculture, distant views, legends and time. Exciting facts and stories about the places invite you to pause at the experience boards with wooden benches. The routes are signposted throughout and, wherever possible, run away from the major traffic routes. Along the routes, farm shops and country inns provide local catering with seasonal products.

New four-day flat rate

In cooperation with Eurotrek, the four-day e-bike offer "Around Bern" was created for the 2023 cycling season. It goes in four stages from the city of Bern out on the four thematic routes. The price, starting at CHF 579, includes three nights' accommodation with breakfast, daily luggage transport, a subsidy for traveling by train, the well-planned route and travel documents. An e-bike can also be booked.
