Vienna Airport is the largest employer in the eastern region - and implements numerous measures to promote the health of its workforce. The Austrian Network for Workplace Health Promotion (BGF) has now awarded Flughafen Wien AG the BGF seal of approval for this commitment.

And this for the second time: After 2019 to 2021, the airport can now carry the certificate from 2022 to 2024. The health of its employees is very important to Vienna Airport: The company offers a wide range of measures in the areas of ergonomics in the workplace, occupational safety, various part-time work models, paternity leave, free vaccination campaigns, non-smoking seminars, psychological care and even its own specialist center.

“The health of our employees is our top priority and this aspect has become even more important during the pandemic. Thanks to our employees, Vienna Airport was and is always available as a critical infrastructure. As the largest employer in the region, we take responsibility for our employees and support them with our health promotion measures,” says Günther Ofner, CEO of Flughafen Wien AG.
