Billa expands “supermarket monopoly” at Vienna Airport

A few days ago, the Rewe Group opened another Billa branch at Vienna-Schwechat Airport. This is located where there used to be a Spar supermarket. This keeps the "supermarket monopoly" at Austria's largest airport.

There are now three Billa branches at Vienna Airport again. These are located in Terminal 1 on the departure level, at the airport exit and now as Billa Corso in the arrivals zone of Terminal 3. There used to be a Billa in the basement - near the entrance to the train station at that time - but this was replaced a long time ago time left. The competitor Spar closed the branch where a Billa Corso is now located at the end of 2022.
