The Romanian Blue Air will station two medium-haul Boeing 2022-737 jets at Iasi Airport from June 800. Four aircraft are to be stationed by next year, which will then be 737 Max 8s.

From June 2022, the carrier plans to offer flights from Iasi to Barcelona, Brussels, Cologne/Bonn, Munich, Heraklion, Mykonos, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Rome-Fiumicino, Turin and Zakinthos. Furthermore, Milan, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Valencia, Malaga, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Prague, Catania, Larnaka, Athens, Preveza, Chania, Rhodes and Tel Aviv are planning to continue. There are no concrete dates for the last mentioned goals. In any case, they want to serve them by the summer flight schedule of 2023 at the latest.

Blue Air's fleet currently consists of five Boeing 737 Max 8s, eleven B737-800s, four B737-500s and one B737-700. Bucharest, Dublin and London-Luton are currently being offered from Iasi. It is the carrier's fifth Romanian base. In addition to Turin and Alghero, aircraft have been stationed in Bucharest, Bacau, Cluj and Constanta in their home country.
