Icelandic cargo airline Bluebird Nordic announced that it has ceased operations on April 30, 2024. This was done by voluntarily returning their air operator's certificate to the Icelandic Civil Aviation Authority.

According to the company's announcement, all aircraft will be returned to their respective lessors. Bluebird Nordic operated cargo flights exclusively and offered services to customers on both a charter and wet lease basis. The airline was taken over by the Avia Solutions Group in January 2020. The fleet most recently consisted of seven Boeing 737s and 777s.
