The Latvian airline has ordered a total of 24 electric vehicles for its ground handling. In addition, the company has already installed seven charging stations on the apron of Riga Airport, with 15 more to follow by the end of the year.
“Sustainability is at the heart of our future development. That's why we decided last year that all new cars the company buys will be electric. Our ground handling colleagues are already using the first electric vehicles we have purchased. We think greener, we fly greener,” says airline boss Martin Gauss.
