On Friday, January 20, 2023, Air France will debut a Boeing 777-300ER equipped with the latest long-haul cabin on the Paris (Charles de Gaulle)-New York (JFK) route. The machine bears the baptismal name "Fontainebleau".

The other flights planned with this type will lead to Rio de Janeiro and Dakar. Air France is currently modernizing the cabins of 12 Boeing 777-300ER. Little by little the new product will be available on long-haul routes. The carrier expects that by the end of this year all aircraft used on the long haul will have new full-flat business class seats. Those machines that are not yet equipped with WLAN are also to be retrofitted.

The new business class can be seen in the slideshow below:

Air France will be offering 777 business class seats in the Boeing 300-48ER. These are so-called full-flat seats that can be converted into a bed almost two meters long. All seats should also have direct access to the aisle. A new sliding door allows passengers to create a completely private space, unseen by the other passengers in the cabin. To create a greater sense of privacy for passengers traveling together, the mid-cabin seats now feature a center panel that can be lowered by pushing down, creating a convivial space where you can make the most of the cabin . The seat also features a wide 17,3-inch 4K high-definition anti-glare screen with a noise-reducing headset, a new Bluetooth connection that allows passengers to use their own headphones, and multiple power outlets .

The Premium Economy Class can be seen in the slideshow below:

The premium economy class has 777 seats in the Boeing 300-38ER. The model that is already installed in the Airbus A350 is used. The legroom is 96 centimeters. The seat cushions have been redesigned and the navy blue herringbone fabric adds further softness. The seatback reclines 124 degrees and has been widened to provide more privacy. A new noise-reducing audio headset is integrated into the seat and is easy to use at any time during the flight. The seat also features USB A and C ports.

The seats in the economy cabin (273 seats) also meet current comfort standards. Each seat has a 43" pan, 119-degree recline and 79" of legroom. The backrest is ergonomically designed and offers increased lateral support. It is also equipped with a USB-A port.

Seats in these two Economy Class sections feature a wide 13,3-inch 4K high-definition screen with Bluetooth connectivity, ideal for listening to over 1.500 hours of on-demand entertainment with personal headphones. In all cabins, customers have access to the company's connectivity offering, Air France Connect. The Air France Connect portal offers three passes, including a completely free pass that allows customers to send and receive messages and access information on flight connections.
