Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The US aircraft manufacturer has had a lot of problems with the new developments Boeing 787 “Dreamliner” and 737-Max. Both models received worldwide flight bans, which have since been lifted. Now the aviation authority FAA discovered new defects in the Dreamliner.

The Americans were not particularly specific, because one writes in a statement only of a “problem in the area of the nose of certain Boeing 787s”. It would not pose a threat to flight safety, but manufacturer Boeing was told that the defect had to be remedied before delivery. It is also checked whether the newly discovered problem is also present in copies that have already been handed over to customers. The FAA will then decide whether modifications are necessary.
