The US aircraft manufacturer Boeing received fewer orders in May than in the previous month.
A total of 23 machines were ordered, as the company announced yesterday. Lufthansa was the largest customer with seven 787-9s, two 777Fs and seven 777-8Fs. Eva Air also ordered another 777F, Bain Capital five Boeing 737 Max and American Airlines another 737 Max Received orders for 46 machines. European competitor Airbus received 13 orders that month. Boeing delivered 35 aircraft in May, unchanged from the previous month.
