Boeing delivered more commercial aircraft in August: according to its own statements, the US aircraft manufacturer handed over a total of 35 machines to customers, significantly more than in the previous month, when there were 26 aircraft.

While the majority of August was attributable to the problem aircraft 737 MAX, the first long-haul aircraft 787 “Dreamliner” went back to a customer in more than a year. At the same time, management recorded 30 orders and four cancellations. The world's largest aircraft manufacturer Airbus announced last week that it had handed over 39 commercial aircraft to customers in August. The development is slowing down here: In the previous month, the group had delivered 46 commercial jets, in June even 60 pieces. No new orders came in in August. Net orders for the year now stand at 388 and deliveries at 277 aircraft.
