The US aircraft manufacturer Boeing was able to surpass the figures of its competitor Airbus: in the first quarter of the year, Boeing was able to book more deliveries than the European manufacturer.

In the first quarter of the year, Boeing outperformed Airbus, totaling 130 Boeing model deliveries, while Airbus sold 127 aircraft in the first quarter. Boeing was also able to outbid Airbus in March this year: 64 Boeing deliveries were made, while Airbus was only able to sell 61 aircraft. In terms of new orders, however, Boeing could not hold a candle to Airbus, where Boeing was surpassed by Airbus with 156 new orders. Boeing was only able to register 120 new orders.
