The fourth de Havilland Dash 8-400 in Skyalps colors has arrived at Bolzano Airport. The machine is operated by Maltese Luxair and has the registration 9H-PET.

It is the former OE-LGJ originally delivered to Tyrolean Airways in 2005. The turboprop aircraft was christened “Baden” until it was phased out by Austrian Airlines. As of May 2021, this de Havilland Dash 8-400 was in storage.

The Skyalps fleet operated by Luxwing now consists of four turboprop aircraft of this type. These bear the registrations 9H-BEL, 9H-EVA, 9H-ALE and 9H PET. The last two machines were previously in service with Tyrolean Airways and Austrian Airlines. Only recently has Skyalps been adding new routes from Bolzano to Zurich sowie von Bergamo to Brač announced. From Maribor, Slovenia charter flights will be operated in the summer of 2022.
