The South Tyrolean startup Skyalps secured two DHC Dash 8-400s that were previously in the service of Flybe. According to the company, these are the machines with the serial numbers 4230 and 4237. The lessor is Chorus Aviation Capital.

The flight operations should to be included in June 2021. In addition to flights to the Italian capital Rome, various holiday destinations are also being planned. It is noteworthy that Skyalps intends to fly to both Ciampino and Fiumicino. In the medium term, destinations such as Vienna and Munich are also in the pipeline from Bolzano.

Since the company does not have its own certificates, the services of the Maltese Luxwings are used. This will operate the two Dash 8-400s. For this reason, they are entered in the Maltese register.
