The comeback of the South Tyrolean airport in scheduled traffic is delayed further.

Actually, December was set as the start date. In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, however - unsurprisingly - it was not possible to take off as planned. Therefore, the start-up company has to postpone the date again. This time to April next year. The privatized Bolzano Airport plans to offer scheduled flights to Rome and other destinations under the “Sky Alps” brand. A DHC Dash 8-400 turboprop aircraft is to be used as the aircraft. The operational implementation will be carried out by the Maltese Luxwing. Previously, the carrier was primarily active in the business jet business.
