Bratislava: Air Explore fleets Boeing 737 Freighters

The Slovakian airline Air Explore is entering the cargo business with full-freighters. The first Boeing 737BCF will be taken over shortly. The machine has the serial number 33719 and was delivered to Ryanair in 2003.

The freighter will be registered on Air Explore's AOC during the second half of 2022 and will initially fly under a charter agreement for UAE-based broker RDS Cargo Group. It is the first time in the history of the Slovakian carrier that a pure cargo aircraft has been included in the fleet.

Air Explore wants to establish another mainstay in addition to passenger flights, mainly in charter and ACMI and to a lesser extent on its own account. The Slovakian carrier confirmed to Cargo Facts that the 737-800BCF will not remain a one-off, but will continue to expand in this segment.

The Air Explore fleet currently consists of eight Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft. The average age of the machines is 17,9 years. The Slovakian carrier was founded in 2010.
