Slovakia's Air Explore has added another Boeing 737-800 medium-haul jet to its fleet. This bears the registration OM-MEX and was last used by the Turkish Pegasus Airlines as TC-CPR.
At the end of last week, the aircraft originally delivered to Spicejet at the end of 2007 as VT-SPS was first transferred from Shannon to Budapest and then two days later to the home base in Bratislava.
The leased aircraft is owned by Lessor ECAF I. The fleet has grown to seven aircraft. Air Explore is currently in wet lease operation for Corendon Airlines, Corendon Europe, Iraqi Airways and Badr Airlines, among others. In the coming weeks and months, the Slovakian aviation company will add more Boeing 737-800s to its fleet. With these you will mainly fly on behalf of the Corendon Group.
