Vienna is known for its traditional gastronomy scene, which moves between tried-and-tested classics and innovative new interpretations. One of the most recent success stories in this culinary landscape is the pop-up restaurant "Brioche und Brösel", which has quickly become a magnet for burger lovers and fans of Viennese cuisine on Rotenturmstrasse. The concept is now an integral part of the renowned Figlmüller Group, which was recently named "the most legendary restaurant in the world" by Taste Atlas for its main restaurant.

The transition to the Figlmüller Group also brings with it a culinary development: the menu has been expanded to include two new burger creations. In addition to the previous highlights, the Figlmüller schnitzel burger and the boiled beef burger, the veal butter schnitzel burger and the Viennese fried chicken burger are now also available. These new creations follow the concept of offering traditional Viennese dishes in a contemporary form and creating new taste experiences.

The veal butter schnitzel burger is served with onion jam, cucumber cream salad, cranberry mayonnaise and fresh fried onions. It interprets the classic Viennese schnitzel in a modern way without losing its roots. The Viennese fried chicken burger, on the other hand, impresses with truffled potato and veal salad and crispy bacon. Both versions rely on high-quality ingredients and careful preparation to offer guests an upscale, yet down-to-earth interpretation of Viennese cuisine.

From a pop-up to a permanent institution

The inclusion of "Brioche und Brösel" in the Figlmüller Group marks an important milestone for the young restaurant concept. The operators Hans and Thomas Figlmüller see this as a consistent further development of their philosophy of rethinking Viennese classics. "Our veal butter schnitzel burger is the original form of the burger and a tribute to the heritage of this world-class dish. We have many more ideas to reinterpret Viennese cuisine and to constantly develop our concept," explain the restaurateurs.

With the permanent integration into the renowned catering company, the concept is now being further professionalized. Guests can rely on consistent quality and long-term availability of the popular burger specialties. The freshly prepared burgers are available daily from 11.30:22.00 a.m. to 9,80:XNUMX p.m. and prices start at XNUMX euros.

The Figlmüller Group: A Viennese institution with a desire for expansion

Since its founding in 1905, the Figlmüller Group has established itself as an integral part of the Viennese gastronomy scene. Known for its oversized, thinly pounded Figlmüller schnitzel, the family business has consistently expanded its range over the past few decades. Today, the group of companies comprises eight different gastronomy establishments, including the "Lugeck", the "Figls" in Grinzing, the "Joma" and several specialty concepts at Vienna Airport.

With "Brioche und Brösel" the group is expanding its portfolio with a modern concept that appeals to both tourists and locals. The success of the pop-up shows that the demand for high-quality, yet quickly served food with a regional focus is constantly growing. The fusion of traditional Viennese cuisine and modern street food promises to continue to be very popular as the Figlmüller Group continues its expansion course.
