British Airways connects London Heathrow with Florence

British Airways will in future connect London Heathrow Airport with Florence.

At the start of the summer flight schedule, the British airline's planes take off daily for Italy. The new connection is scheduled to be inaugurated on April 26, 2023. An Airbus A320neo is used, as reported by the online portal Simpleflying. The airline already offers a similar flight connecting London City Airport with FLR. This route primarily serves passengers whose journey also ends in London. In contrast, the route to Heathrow offers many connecting options for international travellers. “This is not only great news for UK travelers, but also for those wishing to fly to US destinations from Florence. Flights to the United States have been adjusted accordingly," said a spokesman for the airline.
