Brussels Airport is entering the winter flight schedule with 120 destinations. Despite the corona pandemic, there may also be new destinations such as Kittila, Kuusamo and Innsbruck. Their uptake, however, depends on the further development of the crisis.

The Air France-KLM cheap subsidiary Transavia has not yet made a final decision on whether the “skier route” to Tyrol will be included or not. The background to this is the travel warning issued by Belgium. As a result, a quarantine could bloom upon return. Of course, this has an enormous negative effect on demand. Transavia is therefore monitoring further developments and will decide at a later point in time about hops or drops with regard to Brussels-Innsbruck.

According to the current planning status, the homebase carrier Brussels Airlines is offering 2020 destinations, including 21 long-haul destinations, in the 50/16 winter flight schedule. Tuifly Belgium currently has 30 destinations in its program.

A total of 40 airlines are planning to make 450 connections a week from Brussels to 120 destinations. The extent to which this may have to be reduced due to the pandemic cannot be estimated at the moment. The situation is changing across Europe week after week, sometimes even daily.
