The Lufthansa subsidiary Brussels Airlines officially presented the new logo and livery on Thursday. The first machine to be painted in the new color scheme has the registration OO-SSO.
The Airbus A319 no longer has a “b” on the tail fin, but red and gray dots of various sizes. The fuselage and engines are largely white. There are gray and blue dots of different sizes in different places. The lettering "Brussels Airlines" now appears in two lines on the front of the Airbus A319.
“We want to clearly mark the start of New Brussels Airlines. For our customers who deserve the best, but also for our employees who are committed to the transformation that we are driving forward and to which they contribute every day. That is why today we are presenting the visual translation of our new beginning. With this new brand identity, we are ready to show our customers, our employees, our partners and all other stakeholders that we are on the spot. As one of the four network airlines in the Lufthansa Group, we are paving the way for a promising future. We see this new brand identity as a symbol of trust in our company and underline our identity as Belgium's home airline ”, says company boss Peter Gerber.
