Brussels Airlines is now cooperating with the personnel leasing company Randstad. The aim of the cooperation is to ensure that currently unemployed airline staff can be transferred to other branches as quickly as possible.

Specifically, the Brussels employees affected are to be temporarily housed in other companies via the Randstad temporary work agency. The carrier declares that this would meet social responsibility. Should the market situation improve, however, they also offer a re-entry with the airline.

“We are experiencing turbulent times and many of our colleagues have not been able to resume their normal work regime since March. This crisis put a heavy strain on her financially, but the psychosocial effects should not be underestimated either. We were looking for a way to bridge this difficult period caused by temporary unemployment. Thanks to the partnership with Randstad, we can offer temporary employment to those who want to go back to work. We hope this can help ease the burden while we wait for the tourism industry to restart, ”said Brussels hiring manager Bert Van Rompaey.
