The business travel specialist Business Travel Unlimited has relocated its Styrian headquarters to Graz Airport.

"The relocation of BTU to Graz Airport is a strong sign for the future, especially in difficult times like these," explain Jürgen Loeschnig and Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Directors of Graz Airport. "We are very pleased that we can welcome such an important and professional partner to the site." The reason for BTU's move is the conviction that there will soon be an upward trend in travel activity in the Styrian economy. "Despite the pandemic, BTU is very well positioned economically. We expect strong growth again in the medium term and are committed to our locations throughout Austria, because customer proximity and individual service are part of our DNA," says BTU COO Michael Glück.

Gerald Grubholz, head of the new Graz office, sees it that way too. BTU analyzed the current problem very soberly and came to the conclusion that a move was crucial for customer proximity and service: "We are now deliberately focusing more on the core competencies of the company, such as For example, customer-oriented support, technical innovation and a wide range of services, and now from Graz Airport, an important transport hub for south-eastern Austria and neighboring countries,” Grubholz continued.

The airport bosses are also satisfied: "Especially in difficult times like these, the relocation of BTU to Graz Airport is a strong sign for the future," explain Jürgen Loeschnig and Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Directors of Graz Airport. "We are very pleased to welcome such an important and professional partner to the site."
