The Romanian airline HiSky Europe is also reacting to the fact that its competitor Blue Air is experiencing severe turbulence. Two more routes are set up from Bucharest. These are to be served with Airbus A320.

Blue Air had to a few weeks ago cease flight operations. Initially it was assumed that you can take off again from September 12, 2022, however couldn't keep the appointment. The low-cost airline is currently hoping that October 10, 2022 will be the day. However, there are still many unanswered questions. Meanwhile, competitors like Wizz Air have responded, announcing plans to significantly increase their presence in Romania.

HiSky is an airline based in the Republic of Moldova. Recently it became known that one has a lessor will purchase two Airbus A321LRs. An EU subsidiary is maintained in Romania under the name HiSky Europe. In the 2022/23 winter flight schedule, this will now offer the destinations Brussels and Dublin from Bucharest. Both routes are to be served with medium-haul Airbus A320 jets.

The Belgian capital is to be served on Monday and Friday traffic days from November 4, 2022. Between November 30, 2022 and initially January 27, 2023, it is also planned to fly on Wednesdays. From December 7, 2023, Dublin is to be headed for on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
