Budapest: Smartwings starts Sri Lanka flights

The Hungarian Smartwings branch will begin flights from Budapest to Sri Lanka in December 2023 on behalf of a tour operator. These are to be carried out with Boeing 737-800s. For technical reasons a stopover is necessary.

From December 19, 2023, there will be flights from Budapest to Colombo once a week for a tour operator. The necessary stopover takes place in Ras al-Khaimah (United Arab Emirates). The plan is currently to fly to Sri Lanka on Tuesdays. The return flights take place on Wednesdays.
