On December 4, 2002, Bulgaria's national airline carried out its maiden flight.
It led from Sofia to London, from there to Paris and back to Sofia. Today it flies non-stop to more than 20 international destinations and operates two domestic routes between Sofia, Burgas and Varna. Thanks to its partners, Bulgaria Air offers passengers the opportunity to visit almost every corner of the world. Codeshare partnerships exist with ITA Airlines, Qatar Airways, Iberia, KLM, Aegean Airlines, Talom Airways and Air Serbia, among others.
