Bulgaria lands Tayaranjet

The Bulgarian airline Tayaranjet has to involuntarily leave all aircraft on the ground. The aviation authority has suspended AOC and operating license. This means that the company is no longer authorized to operate commercial passenger flights.

The spicy thing is that Tayaranjet recently won a PSO tender in Italy. In the absence of approval as an airline, this assignment will not be able to be carried out. It has not yet been decided whether there will be a new tender or a temporary emergency award.

According to the Bulgarian authorities, the AOC and the operating license were suspended because the criteria for financial capacity were no longer met. However, the carrier has the opportunity to prove this again and can then have the certificates issued again. In Italy, Tayaranjet has caused a stir in the past, as several pilots have allegedly sued in court for unpaid wages.
