Bulgaria: Luxair symbolically opens Varna summer season 2023

On May 5, 2023, the summer season was symbolically opened with the landing of a Luxair Boeing 737 at Varna Airport in Bulgaria. A small celebration was also held, because Luxair has been active on the Luxembourg-Varna route for 21 years - even during the corona pandemic.

The first charter flights from Germany and Poland will start in the middle of this month. There will also be flights from Helsinki again after a three-year break. These are to be reactivated at the beginning of June 2023, according to Fraport Bulgaria. With Braathens International Airways and Arkia, two new airlines can be welcomed this year.
