Federal Army helicopter had to make an emergency landing in Upper Austria

On Thursday, October 19, 2023, shortly before 20:00 p.m., an Agusta Bell 212 helicopter from the Austrian Armed Forces made an emergency landing in Upper Austria in the Pramet/Feitzing area for reasons that are currently unknown.

The six occupants, including two pilots, a technician and three air rescuers, were able to leave the aircraft in time and are currently on the way to the hospital. The rescue chain was immediately set in motion; The fire brigade, rescue service and police are currently at the scene of the accident. The accident commission of the Upper Austria military command is on the way to the scene of the accident. No other people were involved in the accident.
