Germany and Singapore have agreed to create a mutual "green travel corridor" for business trips. However, this is only applicable to non-stop flights between the two countries and travelers have to meet certain requirements.
For example, a so-called “SafeTravel Pass” must be presented. This will be required for entry into both countries in the future. In addition, an official invitation from a company or a government agency and a negative PCR test are required. Citizenship does not matter, but a residence in Singapore or Germany must be proven.
After the invitation, the Singaporean company applies for the SafeTravelPass to the local authorities on behalf of the applicant. If the application is approved, the traveler is allowed to enter the country, but must prove a negative "PCR" Covid-19 test before departure from Germany, which is not older than 72 hours and which was issued by an approved medical facility. Even after arriving in Singapore, the SafeTravel Pass traveler must undergo a Covid-19 PCR test. The host company or government agency will transport the traveler directly from the airport to the specified accommodation / hotel in compliance with applicable health regulations. There the traveler has to wait in isolation until the test result is announced. If the test is negative, the business trip in Singapore can begin according to a previously submitted program.
