The Innsbruck-based business jet operator Tyrolean Jet Services takes over the competitor Pink Sparrow. This will add five more machines to the TJS fleet.

According to the company, Pink Sparrow will remain active in the areas of air ambulance and organ transport. On the other hand, on-demand passenger flights will be operated by Tyrolean Jet Services in the future.

Taking into account a predecessor company, TJS has been active on the market since 1958. Various well-known companies have emerged from the company, because some business areas were gradually spun off and sold. For example, these are Tyrol Air Ambulance (originally: Tyrolean Air Ambulance), the former Tyrolean Airways and the ÖAMTC rescue helicopter operator Heliair.

The Tyroelan Jet Services Group is currently made up of three independent flight operations. These are located in Innsbruck, San Marino and Luqa (Malta). The fleet is registered to the respective AOCs. The acquired Pink Sparrow currently has five Cessna jets registered in the Austrian register. The company is based in Innerschwand am Mondsee.
