Heringsdorf Airport modernizes navigation procedures

Heringsdorf Airport will be putting modernized navigation procedures into operation in time for the summer of 2024. The switch to satellite-based systems is scheduled to be completed on May 4, 2024. According to the airport, this will mean that so-called precision approaches will then be possible in both directions of the runway.

Annual figures: Heringsdorf Airport with 19.500 travelers
