
Termination plans at Lufthansa subsidiaries ASL and ASD: East-West wage inequality causes discontent
In the midst of ongoing wage negotiations between the Verdi union and the Lufthansa subsidiaries ASL and ASD at the Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports, there is great dissatisfaction among the 140 employees. The employees are demanding wage adjustments to the western level, as despite 34 years of German unity, they continue to earn up to 1300 euros less than their West German colleagues.
