Nuremberg Airport expects strong passenger demand during autumn holidays

Nuremberg Airport anticipates high passenger volume during the Bavarian autumn holidays. Up to 140.000 passengers are expected, with around 950 scheduled takeoffs and landings. These figures mark a strong end to the autumn business, following a 15 percent increase in passengers compared to the previous year since the end of the Bavarian summer holidays.

Tree care at Nuremberg Airport secures air traffic

Nuremberg Airport, in cooperation with the Bavarian State Forests, Nuremberg Forestry Operations, will carry out felling measures along the airport fence in the Nuremberg Reichswald forest this autumn. The necessary work primarily serves to ensure flight safety and, at the same time, is intended to contribute to targeted forest management. “Airport Express” between Nuremberg and Munich with positive results

Nine months after the launch of the direct train connection between Nuremberg and Munich Airport, the operators are drawing a positive conclusion. The so-called Interregional Airport Express (ÜFEX), which runs every two hours without transfers to the terminal, recorded a significant increase in passenger demand.
