Air Arabia launches daily direct flights from Munich to Sharjah

Munich Airport has welcomed Air Arabia as a new airline to its route network. Since December 15, 2025, the pan-Arabian airline has been connecting the Bavarian hub daily with the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With this new route, Munich Airport expands its direct connections to the Gulf region.

Dortmund Airport set a new passenger record during the 2025 North Rhine-Westphalia autumn school holidays. Between October 11th and 26th, a total of 178.487 passengers used the airport. This represents an increase of approximately 6.300 travelers, or 3,7 percent, compared to the same period in 2024. During this time, the airport handled [number of passengers].

Dortmund Airport records strong third quarter of 2025

Dortmund Airport continues its upward trend, reporting a significant increase in passenger numbers for the third quarter of 2025. From July to September, a total of 959.728 travelers used the airport, representing an increase of 7,5 percent compared to the same period last year. This period marks the most travel-intensive period of 2025 so far.
