Flydubai starts nonstop flights from Basel-Mulhouse to Dubai

Basel Airport evacuated again

The Euro-Airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg was recently evacuated again for a short time after security concerns arose. The measure led to a temporary suspension of air traffic. Change of leadership at Basel-Mulhouse Airport in 2025

Basel-Mulhouse Airport is facing a significant change in management: Director Matthias Suhr will retire at the end of March 2025, followed by his deputy Marc Steuer, who will step down at the end of December 2025. May holidays: Basel expects a high number of passengers

Summer 2024: Wizz Air increases Budapest-Basel

In the 2024 summer flight schedule, Wizz Air will operate a total of 16 aircraft from Budapest. Compared to the same period last year, the base will be expanded by two Airbus jets. This will also mean that some routes will be served more frequently. In the DA-CH region, however, only the Basel destination will be increased. Summer 2024: Easyjet announces Basel-Luqa

In the 2024 summer flight schedule, the low-cost airline Easyjet also intends to fly between Basel and Luqa. From Nice, the carrier plans to fly to the Maltese airport twice a week from June 27, 2024.
