Court lifts high fines against Swiss

The Swiss Federal Administrative Court has overturned fines totaling CHF 368.000 imposed by the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) against Swiss airline Swiss. The fines were imposed for alleged violations of due diligence in checking the travel documents of passengers bound for Zurich between 2016 and 2018.

Swiss relocates its legal headquarters from Basel to Kloten

The Swiss airline Swiss International Air Lines has relocated its legal headquarters from Basel to Kloten, in the immediate vicinity of its operational headquarters at Zurich Airport. The move, which took place on May 9, was announced in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce. Previously, Swiss's address was in central Basel.

Medical emergency forces Edelweiss flight to land in Madrid

A flight operated by the Swiss airline Edelweiss from Faro to Zurich had to be interrupted in Madrid on Tuesday evening due to a medical emergency involving a passenger on board. Flight WK289 continued its journey after a brief stop in the Spanish capital and arrived in Zurich with a slight delay.
