Lufthansa Super Star receives historic livery

Lufthansa's historic Lockheed L-1649A Super Star aircraft was recently repainted in its classic 1950s design. The work took place at Münster/Osnabrück Airport. The paint job, based on historical documents, was carried out by Altitude Paint Services (APS). Hamburg-based manufacturer Mankiewicz provided the necessary paint for the project.

Sundair closes base at Münster/Osnabrück Airport for winter 2025/26

The airline Sundair will not reopen its base at Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) for the upcoming 2025/26 winter season. The capacity affected by this decision will instead be reallocated to other scheduled flight routes operated by the airline, according to industry news service CH-Aviation. This means Sundair is withdrawing from important winter destinations from the Westphalian airport.

Ryanair launches new flight connections from Münster/Osnabrück
