Corendon Airlines, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is significantly expanding its operations at Nuremberg Airport (NUE). From May 2026, the airline will base a second aircraft at the airport. This move is seen as a strong commitment to the Franconian airport and is expected to position Corendon Airlines as the largest tourist carrier in the region.
Nuremberg Airport anticipates high passenger volume during the Bavarian autumn holidays. Up to 140.000 passengers are expected, with around 950 scheduled takeoffs and landings.
