Austrian Airlines uses Boeing 777s on short-haul German routes

Austrian Airlines will increase its presence on high-frequency routes between Vienna and Germany in May and June 2026 through the targeted deployment of wide-body aircraft. According to a report by Aeroroutes.com, the Boeing 777-200ER, the largest long-haul model in the Lufthansa subsidiary's fleet, will be used on selected flights to Frankfurt.
