Chair Airlines introduces fixed rostering

The holiday airline Chair is changing the so-called rostering and intends to set the rosters of the pilots and flight attendants a year in advance. In doing so, one looks at the practice of the competitors Easyjet and Ryanair, because the two companies have been practicing the so-called fixed rostering for a long time.

From January 1, 2023, Chair's crews will be divided into five days work, four days off, followed by five days work and three days off. Apart from holidays and sick leave, this should remain the same throughout the year. Employees then know well in advance when they have to work and when they are off duty. There may be deviations in the high season, as Chair assumes that there will be significantly more staffing requirements.
