Trained and experienced aviation specialists are currently in high demand again. Since there are more vacancies than people who are interested, employers come up with lots of ideas to offer a few goodies. For example, Chair Airlines rents a finca on Mallorca, which is made available to employees largely free of charge.

Smaller providers in particular are having a hard time in Switzerland at the moment, because the competition is also looking for airline specialists. The change can sometimes be made palatable with a higher monthly wage. At the same time, employers are trying to keep their employees and are increasingly offering “goodies” that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.

Chair Airlines has rented a finca on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, which employees can use largely free of charge. If you just want to go on vacation, you have to pay around 100 Swiss francs, which are earmarked for expenses and final cleaning. But it is even cheaper if the laptop is packed up and you work from Palma, because then even this small deductible should not apply. Incidentally, employees who cannot work from home at all because of their job are completely exempt from the flat rate.

So that there is no chaos around the accommodation, a kind of internal booking system has been set up. Subject to availability, Chair employees can book vacation stays in Palma or Mallorca. Stand-by tickets can be issued for the journey or fixed bookings can be made at a reduced rate.
