Julia Kranenberg will strengthen the Executive Board team at Fraport AG as the new Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director. This was decided by the company's Supervisory Board at today's meeting. She succeeds Michael Müller, whose contract expires on September 30, 2022 for reasons of age.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Fraport AG, Hesse's Finance Minister Michael Boddenberg, was very satisfied with the selection process: "In the end, the choice was difficult for us because we got to know outstanding leaders during this process. What speaks for Julia Kranenberg in particular is that she has gained a wide range of experience in a large infrastructure company and accompanied transformation processes there. In addition, she convinced me with her clear professional but also human nature.”

Boddenberg also paid tribute to the services of the outgoing labor director: “With Michael Müller, Fraport AG loses an outstanding leader who, in her almost 40 years of airport experience, has made a significant contribution to the positive development of today's Fraport AG. In particular, protecting the interests of employees - both in good times and in the crisis years in aviation - was always a matter close to his heart. I would like to thank Mr. Müller for his successful work, his commitment and the good cooperation and wish him all the best and God's blessings for the future."
