More and more Lufthansa Group employees are volunteering at Help Alliance for a good cause. They also use their artistic and / or musical skills. Thanks to this creative support, the Lufthansa Group's aid organization is increasingly able to move more in its projects to give children, adolescents and young adults access to education.

Help Allicance is now starting the summer with two very special employee campaigns. An acrylic painting "Amazonas", which was painted by Simone von Anhalt, will be auctioned. She works for Lufthansa and is also active as an artist. 50 percent of the proceeds go to Help Alliance for the aid project “Boxing against a lack of prospects” in São Lourenço da Mata, Brazil. It aims to offer children and young people an alternative to boredom, crime and a lack of prospects through sports, music and educational opportunities. Simone von Anhalt lived in Brazil for several years in her youth. From their drastic experiences and experiences, the deep need arose for the street children from the poorest regions of Brazil.

Marika Hinkey, Lufthansa flight attendant and singer, and Martin Heumüller, Lufthansa captain and pianist, also volunteer with Help Alliance. In 2020 they launched a musical project and, together with socially disadvantaged children from the project “Language Promotion for Children with a Migration Background” in Flörsheim near Frankfurt and many prominent musicians for Help Alliance, produced the song “Let's Get Together to Help the World”.

In order to let all listeners participate in the genesis of the song, a making-of documentary was developed, which gives insights into the production of the song and shows how much fun and excitement the children and young people from Flörsheim had in the music studio.
