Cologne Bonn Airport now offers a non-stop connection to the capital of Kosovo. The airline Trade Air is launching the new route in cooperation with MySky 24. The flights will be offered twice a week from December 14th - every Friday and Sunday. The flight takes just under two and a half hours and connects the Rhineland with Pristina, a city that has become an important political and cultural center in southeastern Europe in recent years.

Thilo Schmid, Managing Director of Cologne/Bonn Airport GmbH, sees the new connection as an enrichment for the flight schedule. "Many people from the Rhineland have close ties to Kosovo, so the demand for a direct connection is high," explained Schmid. In addition to its proximity to the Kosovar diaspora, Pristina is also an interesting destination for tourists, with sights such as the Sultan Mehmet II Mosque and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gračanica Monastery.

The flights are operated by an Airbus A320 of the Croatian airline Trade Air. Tickets can be booked via the MySky 24 and Air Munich websites.
