In November 2020, a 23-year-old woman managed to board an airliner twice without a ticket or boarding pass. The lady indirectly uncovered loopholes in the security control area at Chicago O'Hare Airport. Now she is in custody.
On November 7th, 2020, the young woman didn’t work very hard, because she simply slipped under a barrier of a boarding pass control. Nobody noticed this at first. The same trick then worked at the gate, so that, according to NBC, she could board a plane to Los Angeles. On board she was noticed when counting the passengers, because one person was too many. Incidentally, American Airlines did not file a complaint. The “white lie” that she was wrong and had actually booked with another airline must have been drawn.
But a day later she tried again and this time got on board a United Airlines plane. The ground staff called the police because they could not show a boarding pass or other authorization. Due to the camera recordings, both crimes, which are severely punished in the USA, could be proven.
The lady is now in custody and awaiting her trial. Violations of flight safety in the United States of America can sometimes result in long-term prison sentences. The authorities said that for tactical reasons they have only now communicated details of the incident. However, it can be ruled out that there is a terrorist background. The lady just wanted to try to fly "black" to Los Angeles.
