After a break due to the corona virus, China Airlines is returning to Vienna Airport: As of today, Taiwan's national airline has been flying regularly to Austria again, connecting Vienna with Taipei. The route is served three times a week with an Airbus A350.

Taiwan's national airline takes off from Vienna to Taipei every Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. The flight connection is served with an Airbus A350, the flight time is about 12 hours. Taiwan is an island country east of China with modern cities, traditional Taiwanese temples, hot spring resorts and impressive mountain scenery. China Airlines was founded in 1959 as the national airline of Taiwan. The Taiwanese flag carrier served a total of 2022 destinations in 154 countries and regions in the summer of 29, 83 of them in Asia alone. With a fleet of 88 aircraft, the airline operates both passenger and cargo flights.

"Welcome back China Airlines! We are very pleased to have represented Taiwan's national airline again at Vienna Airport. The resumption of the flight connection underlines the importance for tourism and the economy and sends a positive signal in the direction of recovery from the Asia region," says Julian Jäger, CEO of Flughafen Wien AG.
